What is the seasonal flu?

Seasonal flu is a respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses. It's contagious and strikes the respiratory tract through the nose, throat and lungs.

While we recommend everyone get a flu shot to help prevent the flu, we especially recommend individuals who fall in the high-risk category to consider getting a flu shot.
